AL-QURAN:
Undoubtedly, Allah and His angels send blessings on the prophet the Communicator of unseen news, O you who believe! Send upon him blessings and salute him fully well in abundance.Surah al-Ahzab, Verse 56
Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "That person who is not able to give Sadaqa should read the following Durood, 'Allahumma salli ala Muhammad Abduka wa Rasoolika wa salli ala Mo'mineena wal Mo'minate wal Muslimeena wal Muslimati', and this would become his Sadaqa (Alms)". He has also stated that, "The Mu'mim (Believer), is he who does not tire of doing good till he reaches Jannah".
